Vintage Smurf 20065 Rugby Player Yellow Jersey Red Shorts Base W Germany Peyo

This features an authentic vintage Schleich Rugby Smurf PVC figure (Catalog Number 20065, GTIN-13 EAN 4005086200654). First released in 1980, this figure depicts a Smurf running with a rugby ball under his right arm on an oval green grass base. This piece features the classic standard color variation, consisting of a bright yellow jersey with red collar trim, red shorts, yellow socks, black boots, and a hand-painted brown rugby ball. Due to how these were produced, this Smurf dates from anywhere between 1980 and 1990.

The underside of the green base features crisp "Schleich (S)", "© 1980 PEYO", "W.GERMANY", and mold digit "4" raised stamps. This figure is in excellent vintage condition with vibrant paint application throughout. Crucially for collectors, the green oval base is completely solid with no stress cracks or chips around the boot mounting pegs, and all bottom markings remain sharp and fully legible, making it a fantastic addition to any vintage sports Smurf collection.
